A mostly dry morning with clear spells, but a few showers for coastal locations. During the afternoon, heavy rain will move in from the west, affecting all areas by the evening. Showers pack in behind, accompanied by a strengthening breeze. Maximum Temperature 7C.

Tonight:
Rain may linger in parts of Gloucester and Wiltshire throughout the night. Elsewhere, mostly dry, but a few showers can be expected almost anywhere. Some localised frost in clear spells. Minimum Temperature 1C.

Thursday:
A wet day is expected as yesterday’s rain pushes back south towards the region. The rain becomes more fragmented during the afternoon. Remaining chilly. Maximum Temperature 8C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Friday will be mostly cloudy and windy with further showers possible. Saturday and Sunday look like they will be brighter but the cold feel will continue.
